Mother and daughter team Maggie and Megan specialise in authentic pieces from the 1920s to late 1950s, uncovering each garment's history to pass on to new owners.

Alongside vintage clothing and accessories, they stock reproduction fashion, hosiery and beauty products. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-4pm, plus Thursdays by appointment.

Shrewsbury denied late victory

Shrewsbury saw two points slip away in stoppage time as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Oldham. Michael Appleton's in-form side took the lead immediately after the restart through a superb long-range strike that found the top corner.

Although their advantage lasted just six minutes before the hosts equalised, Shrewsbury looked set for victory when they regained the lead deep into added time through a defensive error.

However, their celebrations were cut short as Joe Garner's late header denied them all three points, leaving Appleton's men frustrated after dominating key moments throughout the contest.

Shrewsbury town women win 0-5 at Alvechurch

Shrewsbury Women delivered a dominant performance at Alvechurch, running out comfortable 5-0 winners this afternoon. The visitors were clinical throughout at The Hayes, putting five past their hosts without reply in a commanding display.

Social Badminton

A friendly local badminton club is welcoming new players of all abilities. The group meets every Thursday evening from 8-10pm at Roman Road Sports Centre in Meole Brace, though there's no pressure to stay for the full session.

With a relaxed, social atmosphere focused on fun and fitness, the club suits anyone with basic playing experience. No need to book, just arrive and play (£5-6 per session).
